It seems to me that the "brand name" issue in Europe has run its course. Sony loyalists waited until the PS3 was out, and either bought it or waited to see if they wanted it as things played itself out. People buying now have the cards on the table in front of them. They can see the pros and cons, the libraries and the costs. People can see everything in action at friends and neighbors' places and decide for themselves.

It seems like they're deciding, at least at the moment, that 30 is a better package, for whatever the reason - cost? marketing persuading them? games? Live? who knows? But a coule years in, it seems that the branding advantage is slowing.



Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
