I'd rather consider it a shame... Though the few times I've been banned elsewhere than VGC have been more amusing than shameful. The last time (and the first time on any forums) I got banned was for off-topic, and even then I was telling the fools to stay on topic. Of course I had to mention I was probably getting banned for off-topic as well and, you know, that's what happened. The other time(s) (not sure if it's one or two times - the reason's pretty much the same if two I guess) were in a game - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I joined a server (apparently a noob one) and after a while got banned for multihacking. Not sure if I even got a warning. Needless to say, I was innocent. They were simply being noobs. It was kinda amusing to get banned because someone couldn't stand there being a better player on the server.
In case you didn't read what I wrote: getting banned is more like a shame, though every time I've been banned it's been even amusing.
