Honestly, I think Sony will probably end up in 2nd at the end of this generation, unless Microsoft releases a 360 slim in 2009 to combat a price-drop.
That said, 3 months ago, I would've given the 360 no shot at all. Microsoft has really done some harsh battling for marketshare starting at E3, and they aren't rolling over. Either way, it's a great sales race, and MS is fighting pretty hard to beat Sony, so you never know either way.
No telling what they have up their sleeves.
