Well, it actually received a better score than I was expecting. 
Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to the daytime levels, as they've done nothing but impress me every time I saw them. And yeah, the Were-hog elements... it's definitely a shame that Sega thinks that Sonic needs a gimmick for every game.
*sigh*
Ah well, I'm looking forward to the game and can't wait to give it a shot this Christmas.
