False.

Does that work out to be a double-negative, or was that just crappy editing? You decide!

Huh? He was talking about the ability to sell GOOD 3rd party titles (a positive), and I said false (a negative). How is that then a double-negative?

Read the whole sentence again, mate. Here.

"I would find it to be pretty damning of the Wii as a console that can move good 3rd party games"

I direct your attention to the clause you failed to bold, i.e. the critical part. It changes the phrase from "talking about the ability to sell GOOD 3rd party titles" to "I'm skeptical that the Wii has the ability to sell good 3rd party titles." Hence the remark about crappy editing. Context matters.

In any case, I'll stick with the crappy editing rationale, rather than the double-negative. Let's move on.

Before moving on, this is what was said:

"Maybe it's just me, but I would find it to be pretty damning of the Wii as a console that can move good 3rd party games if it can't even move 1/10th of the units the X360/PS3 will sell on Week-1"

Meaning, he's saying that it's bad that a console that can move GOOD 3rd party software can't do a tenth of the other consoles (with smaller install bases btw).

At which point, I highlighted "good" and said "false". No double negative. No crappy editing.

On topic:

I've seen CoD:WaW Wii and honestly, I can expect these numbers. As stated before, people who would play this game would get it for PS3/360 more often than on Wii. It's a hardcore title when it comes to the campaign. I would say it has casual appeal for the online, but Wii Online is a joke.
