I saw transformers in 1080i, and it was very good picture. I can only imagine how nice it would be in 1080p, probably very amazing.

Iron man was only slightly compressed though, not very compressed.

If you're watching a Blu-ray movie that was encoded at full HD resolution, you will see no difference between 1080i or 1080p on a flat-panel display.
