If you already run your 360 through component at HD resolutions, you won't really see any difference with HDMI.
Also, some TVs will accept a 1080p signal even if they don't display the full resolution.

If you're watching a Blu-ray movie that was encoded at full HD resolution, you will see no difference between 1080i or 1080p on a flat-panel display.

Are you referring to component vs. HDMI? If so, what I'm saying is that there is no noticeable increase in quality. It's not worth replacing your console just for that.

I don't know if it's Blu-Ray that does this, but why is Transformers running at 60 fps on a full HDTV (1080p)? I hated that, it didn't look like I was watching a movie, more like I was watching my neighbors or something. The 3D effects looked ''stamped'' on the screen, not fluid at all.
Oh well, I'm still happy for you! I'm stuck with 720p here. :(

That's the fault of the film, in this case, not of the transfer quality. The Incredible Hulk doesn't look nearly half as good as Iron Man, and in fact looks significantly less good than Hulk (2003).

Depending on your tv provider Blu-ray could look slightly better to noticeably better.
ps the resolution at 1080 i and p is the same its the details and source some 1080p look better then others and hdmi cleans the picture up over component but I wouldnt get another 360 just for hdmi.
