I voted for 2012. Sadley I have a bad feeling Microsoft will try to launch in 2011. If I was giving my opinion on when next gen consoles should be released, that would be around 2014.
Personally, if the next gen consoles are not using SSD's as a standard then they are not really worth it to me. Graphics wise it will be very easy to push incredible images at a low cost by that time so I am not really worried about that. Next gen I would rather the systems each came with;
-wireless headset
-classis gaming controller w/motion
-motion centric controller
-camera
IMO this kind of stuff packed into the system would give next gen the best chance to be really new and exiting. As I said graphics will blow PS3/360/Current high end PCs out of the water so I am not worried about that. To me it is about what the platform holders can garantee the developers, so they can have more crative opertunities.
