So Black Friday is only big because it's when Americans realise Christmas is coming?... I understand it's a big shopping day but still don't get why... I mean shops have special 1 day deals which helps, but the shops must have had reason to give deals then in the first place so what started this all off?.
Was BF originally a moderately big day because of the "Christmas around the corner" thing (then stores blew it out of proportion), or was it started because Walmart/other big name decided to cut prices one year and other stores competed?
