Hmm, are you implying that the Wii has met demand in North America, or do you realize that within 1 week of today, those Wii's will be selling above market value on Ebay once again?

It's impossible for the Wii to meet demand during this holiday season. Impossible. If you can buy a Wii, buy it now, and sell it on ebay during the christmas rush. Period.

I actually think Nintendo has finally succeeded in meeting demand. You can find them almost everywhere, sold for MSRP with no limit per customer. Also, Nintendo claims they will be able to meet demand through December. We'll see.

For the next couple months, Wii sales in America are going to be astronomical.

That is just due to a large shipment. Supply can spike, deman is constant. Claiming that demand is met during a spike, a historical time in which demand is always met for a limited period, is called coincidental reasoning.

Coincidental reasoning is when you base assumptions that could be true upon constants that would be true with or without the variable in question.

In other words, the Wii being in stock during a huge supply shipment proves nothing, and claiming that demand is met based upon that non-proof is invalid reasoning. It certainly could be true, however, but it can't be proven, nor even be made valid by these methods.
