I bet Lucasarts is furious that they didn't know about Motion Plus till it was too late. I'm actually surprised they didn't delay this game the moment it was announced, but I guess they were too focused on the timing of the tv show.
In the end I guess this game is just a casualty of timing. The idea of accurate Wiimote sword fighting was an idea that quite early on was discovered to be wanting. The Motion Plus re-ignites that promise. And this should have been that game. Instead... It's just another game that didn't live up to it's potential.
