There was a 40GB as well, I saw it in a store. Of course, I already owned MGS4 and a PS3, so I didn't buy it. I suppose it has gone down in price though...
Oh and for the record MGS4 did not suck. And in today's digital distribution age, I think it's likely that anything extra put in MGS4: Existence can also be put on PSN. And while I do love the six months from 12th June theory, I think it's more plausible that they wait for the Game of The Year awards that MGS4 will win, and stick a 'Game of The Year' sticker on the front cover of both Existence and the original MGS4.
