It's called spin, I can't confirm it as I can't read the article myself, but there are not even 14 million Wii in Europe yet, so there are not 14 million X360s. Thus I believe he swapped into worldwide mode for that statement.

@MaxKing.... Check the chart I linked to.... you can't just use the lowest and highest week to figure it out, you need to make an average (I did it roughly in my head) which shows an increase from about 45k (where you got 40k when you were still referencing all of "others" I don't know)  up to about 90-95k.

 

I take into consideration of PR spin.

(Average is 43k before cut. 86k is double PR spin means its not double but close or it means worse week to best week. Avg after cut is 97k and that is including that weird 87k week)

Were you including the last week or two in your higher average? because it's not likely Bach will be, and that increase is more about the holiday anyway.

BUT that no longer matters, because BKK has given us the translation in which it says marketshare, not sales..... and given the increase in Wii sales the (weekly) marketshare doubling is a larger increase than the sales doubling

 

 

 I did NOT include the week that just came out with 122k but i DID with the 106k and Market share doubling... that means it'd need to outsell the wii. BKK also says he is being very liberal with his numbers.
