It's something I can't understand.

They keep hyping every ps3 exclusive as the next super-ube-huge-amazing-awesome-multi-million-seller thing so everything always ends up disappointing and the post-game it's always about managing expectations vs. reality.

Lair, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, Uncharted, MGS4 (well, this one did deliver on everything so it met the hype), LBP, etc...

 

Me neither, it's much better than being quiet and just shutting your mouth and then having the game come in and save a console than making the game look like the 2nd coming of Jesus (which LBP is not by any stretch of the imagination) and then have it come in with decent software sales. You just open yourself up for some serious retribution with that. I feel like 500k is a good amount for a game, but definetly nothing amazing. We'll see how it goes form here.
