dodece i noticed this when the numbers came out [i said so on the japan weekly page.] yes it points to a correction in numbers, but i remember the Wii US numbers being 4.07 last week, and 4.15 now so no change to them... this means it was definately ps3 numbers that have been changed, probably due to over estimating in Eu.
its common for totals to be changed on the site, the weekly numbers might change a day or so after release for all regions, which i think is just new info getting to ioi. but US numbers occasionally change monthly if there is a big difference with NPD.
Eu numbers are the most unstable, i noticed that around june the whole set of weekly numbers for 2007 changed, only very little for most consoles but DS went down quite a bit, and ps3 went up.... perhaps ioi started predicting the numbers in a different way since then [to stop ps3 being undertracked] but went too far and has had to revise them back down.
