I don't think it's suppose to show up in network places/connections I just turned on the PS3 and it didn't show up so I'm pretty sure it's just in WMP. I'm trying to remember what I did because I was having a somewhat similar problem, it wasn't showing up in WMP at all, but now it's constantly there, even when the PS3 is off. Its gonna be under the name of "Unknown Device" if that helps. But if nothing at all is showing up at in WMP then I'm not sure what to tell you, again you have a different connection then me, ures is wireless and mine is wired so it could be a little different. But I think the problem I had, had something to do with the firewall. But just in case did you try clicking on "Allow other devices and computers automatically"? in the configure sharing and in settings? Not sure if it will help but it's worth a shot. Sorry I couldn't help much, I know it was a pain in the ass trying to get that working, but it's awful convient if you can actually get it going.

Yea, I know it is supposed to be an Unknown device. I've actually read a lot on how to set it up, but no one really addresses what do do if nothing is there at all.
I've tried the automatic option, but the PS3 still doesn't connect.
I guess I'll try tailgunners suggestion next, as I only really care about the music.
