First, I'm saying that right now, it's above average, for week 1, for a PS3 AAA hyped "big" game.

I'm saying that in the future sales will be more impressive because of legs.

However, for the PS3's huge epic games, 3-4 million is excellent. In general though, for a "big" AAA hyped title, MGS4 is above average. Fallout 3 will almost certainly outsell MGS4 over all platforms combined, for example.

Am I supposed to make sure my words are considering the PS3's software sales average, or should I set my standard by the entire industry?

 

Now, I might have misunderstood. If you were trying to catch me saying something good about MGS4s sales, of course I did! MGS4s sales are pretty darn good, and the game is magnificant. I love it. I wish it sold more.
