That was noname2200, who did the first coupld things. I brought up Odin Sphere because it did have data. Try paying attention to who makes what comments.

Even so, you were asked to provide data on Okami (the original game in question), and Disgaea (which you brought up).  Instead you ignored it and told him to look it up.  And if what you just said is true, you said so knowing full well there was no American data.

This is what I get for not checking back on threads.

Yakuzice, I was the one who posted that, and so the burden of proof falls on me. It appears that outlawauron is unwilling to use this site's numbers (although I note the dissonance between calling this game a "niche title" too small to be accurately tracked on the one hand, and a title that sold well enough to be a Greatest Hits on the other...). Fortunately, we have another source.

"But when Okami finally released exclusively for PlayStation 2, it only enjoyed mild success. It wasn't the hit that it could and should have been, by all accounts. In fact, since its release in September of 2006, the game has amassed about 270,000 in sales"

Thus, a year and a half after release, Okami had sales of 270,000. Edit: That appears to be total, actually...Although the numbers don't add up if it released in Europe. Did it?

In August, it became a Greatest Hits title. So unless it somehow sold an additional 130,000+ titles in that four month period, it does not meet the formal criteria for Greatest Hits.
