The fact that you are 35 and state that playing games has filled every night of your existance tells us that you are not typical of the average game playing Joe out there.
How then is it surprising that you can't understand the perspective of the average game playing Joe?
Also, if you've never liked Nintendo games, why would you expect this to be any different this generation?
Finally I also have to ask the question, what Wii games have you actually given considerable play time? Fair enough to say there are more games you'd rather play on the PS3 but you can't be a real gamer if you say there aren't any games you'd like to play on the Wii.
