All the media did was attack him and his policies (read: No Child Left Behind proposed by Ted Kennedy (D), he did it to shut the guy up and the media still attacked him anyways)
About hurricane Katrina, people attacked him saying he didn't help. Guess what? We have state governments for a reason. Just because a natural disaster happens doesn't mean that the federal government has to come running to help.
Obama only won the election because he wasn't running against McCain, he was running against Bush's "failed policies".
And lastly, the bit on the economy, the government does not control businesses, so they are free to do whatever they when it comes to shipping jobs overseas.
