This is definitely a possibility. Yes, EuroGamer gave Gears of War an 8/10.

But then, look at Gears of War 2. Gamespot gave it 0.6 lower than the original (they're slowly improving, Gamespot) and IGN gave it 0.1 higher. Not EuroGamer. A full 1/10 higher than the original. Really?

And the MGS4 8/10 thing, that wa just retarded. The only other semi-famous people that 'awarded' it that score were Edge Magazine, and raise your hand if you think Edge Magazine is reliable (*shoots people with raised hand* )

Edge Magazine are just extremely strict reviewers. They gave BioShock a 7/10. They're not fanboys, just idiots.

But when you give one of the best games this year an 8, give a pretty good launch title a 6, and then give a very good, but NOWHERE NEAR PERFECT shooter which happens to be on a different console, a 10, you are a fanboy. They may have been different reviewers, but they meet often. They work for the same company. And because this company has SEVERAL fouls under its belt, it is considered a fanboy website.

Yes, Europe is sony-centric, but EuroGamer does not represent Europe.

I'd have loved to see the look on EuroGamer's faces when BioShock was announced for PS3. They can't really give it less than a 10, now can they?
