So Gears of War is a Half-Life 2 clone ?
Oh right, now I get it. Because Half-Life 2 is in third person, has a great cover system and of course Gordon Freeman has always 3 buddies with him and you're able to play with one of them in splitscreen co-op.
EDIT: Forgot the chainsaw :P
