I don't follow your reasoning. You're saying you don't like the DS because you broke it but you do like the Wii because of software? Would you still like your Wii if you dropped the little white box and it refused to take discs?
I've had more fun with my DS than any other system this generation. Wii and PS3 are starting to catch up, but for a long time DS had the best line up. Maybe get your DS fixed and try some new titles? Both systems are great, but both could be somewhat useless if broken.
