What first party rpg can compete with what comes out of bethesda or square? What shooter this gen can beat what valve and cod 4 have to offer? Exclusives are always nice but when there is a better game in the same genre that is multiplat it kinda seems pointless to even care about them. Im all for exclusives though but seriously its kinda hard to be excited for them when there are better multiplat games out there

your right for the most part about RPG's but for shooters:
Sony: Resistance, Killzone, SOCOM, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted
M$: Gears of War, Halo. And M$ has Fable and Mass Effect for RPG's.
I would generally agree with most of what you said though
