. I was indicating that the meaningful goal for Sony is to pass 360 LTD sales (and not worry too much what the 360 was doing 10 months ago) as this will affect which of the two is chosen as the lead development console.
Even though I believe that one day the PS3 will eventually pass the 360, it won't really mean much in the long run for a few reasons.
No matter which ends up with more sales, the best either can achieve is a distant second. This is not going to determine whether is the lead development console because the lead over the 3rd place console will only be a few million.
