No kidding, what a dirty German Car Commercial/Exorcist Girl Illusions to pull on us, but it does leave me with the question how the necromorph got there. He wouldn't have been alive if she was around when he was going down the the surface, and why exactly her anyways? At the same time look at this:

So if she was dead all along, which seems to be the accepted cannon (she'd be a really crappy docotr if she didn't know what can kill her) then maybe the illusion's weren't really illusions but actually her as a necromorph but his mind would make her out as a normal being? She does get attacked at that one point and you have to defend her. But that wouldn't make sense because why would the Hive Mind want the marker back if that is what was sealing it? That last scene really fucks up the continuation imo. UNLESS Isaac was hallucinating that part as well, meaning he will be alive and well in the next games, then again wtf can 1 necromorph do to him now? I'm sure he knows them inside and out by the end of the game.... I'm guessing Isaac's fate will depend on whether there is a sequel or not, if there is that means he is alive, if there isn't that means he dies (and this makes for one of the best stories period).

 

Yeah it was the moon, but then you can tie any alien artifact in any story to that movie. I really want to know what the Black Marker was, who created it, and if it had the exact same effects as the red one.
