There's no way Square Enix isn't working on something for the Wii that we don't know about.

Damn, that's a lot of negatives. Let me try again.

Square Enix has to be working on a Wii title we don't know about yet. Selling half a million copies of a a DQ upgrade to a interactive sword toy game would have been reason enough for them to start investing in the Wii more. And they can't honestly be oblivious to the Wii's sales world wide, let alone in Japan. Somethings coming. Something has to be coming. For their sake.

There's many companies that dislike the Wii very badly, and that have shown no signs of change. For example Ubisoft, Konami, Epic, Bethesda, Bioware, etc. Square Enix is another one, although they will be badly hit since most of their sales come from Japan, where the Wii is obliterating the competition.

By being stuck in their beliefs and stubborn decisions, they risk themselves to lose great part of their audiences and falling into bankrupcy once again. It's obvious that they bet on the wrong system and they are now looking for moneyhats which Nintendo will not hand out, just like what happened in the GC era. Nintendo could survive without SE titles and this gen SE will see how a console without their games is the absolute leader. Level 5, Marvelous, Namco and SEGA are already miles ahead from them in terms of support.

They will continue making moneyhatted projects that will be failures like IU. They will become smaller as time passes by and people will find another company. Marvelous is appearing as the next one.
