They have increased their visibility though, no matter how the price cut pans out.

They have eradicated their backward losses they were suffering in the 3d quarter so far, and kept up with the PS3 (maintaining their lead by doing so).

Many people expected / hoped for a longer sustained raise, but all in all, if they don't, at least they will have had plenty of publicity leading up to the holidays.

Combine the "remember we've had a price drop" with Gears of War, Fallout, Fable, The Last Remnant and massive bundling, and they're a force to be reckoned with.

Lower price + copy of Sony's bundling strategy, although with highly wanted 3d party games (PES - although that seemed to have failed, COD5 - should help a lot) + holiday season coming + big hitters

They're ready for the coming months.

And if you knew "pretty sure" that the PS3 won't slap you in the face with a price cut of their own, then every means to get additional sales ahead of or along with the PS3 is good.

WE HAVE BREAKING NEWS HERE.....FALLOUT 3 GOES 360 EXCLUSIVE DESPITE PS3 VERSION UP FOR PRE-ORDERS EVERYWHERE!!

ZOMG!!!!!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
