The deal here is obvious. PC games have a higher potential, but they do require more effort. Mouse/Keyboard vs controller, is apples and oranges. PC has user-updates and better graphics. Now, most people don't have a setup capable of playing Huxley how they want to, on their HDTVs with their controllers. It might be the best version of the game("100%" is an asspulled statistic) but it might not be the best option for most people. Fallout 3, for instance, for the 360, has exclusive DLC. PC versions of games aren't always defaultly 100% better. Sometimes they are just different. Convincing yourself that your specific brand of different is always better, is the main reason we have some many fanboys running around here.

Sorry but Mouse/Keyboard combo is by far better than a gamepad for FPS. Anyone interested in frenetic gameplay MUST play it on PC, L4D especially where you will be attacked by hordes of zombies, wave after wave.... and I don't want to play that at 50% slower on a console. I want a fulfilled satisfaction of making a headshot on my own, without the use of auto-aim.

And Fallout 3's DLC is also coming to PC, but I understand that not all PC versions are better than it's console versions.

The PC touting is something a lot of PS3 fans like to pull out of their ass when comparing multiplats. Don't be a puppet, just because they're supporting your arguments to manipulate their fanboy arguments and marginalize a superior version of a game...like the the Fallout 3 debacle.

I merely said that the PC version of L4D is going to be better on PC than Xbox 360. I was not making any generalized statement. Infact, I'll say right now that Xbox 360 has indeed a better holiday lineup than PS3.

Did you know that Fallout 3 has worse frame-rate and more popins on the PS3, than the 360. On top of that, the 360 verion also has achievements, exclusive DLC, and custom soundtracks? Once that was revealed by Playstation Magazine, you know what PS3 fanboys became? PC fanboys. Suddenly, it didn't matter how bad the PS3 version was, because the PC version is the best potentially, anyway. It's the same thing here. They are trying to marginalize L4D because it also appears on PC, but watch it. If they do that, then the next PC arguement you're in, they will marginalize your PC games because they are also on the 360. It's a 2 way street.

I know I "attacked" some people of the Xbox Exclusives thread because they had listed Left 4 Dead as a 360 exclusive, but that's because it's complete idiocy since L4D is NOT exclusive (coming to PC), and saying it's an exclusive is disrespectful to the PC as a gaming platform and to PC gamers.

You are right that L4D deserves to be put in the 360's lineup since we are not talking about exclusives, but holiday lineups. And L4D is another game that serves the purpose of comparing against other lineups.

Marginalize L4D in this topic, and every multiplat the PC enjoys, ceases to count. The PC lineup this Xmas would consist of the WoW expansion. Don't fall for people pretending to be on your side to further their own ignorant fanboy agenda.

Huh? PC has an Incredibly Strong Lineup this Holiday. Here's the most notables:

Battlefield Heroes
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason
FIFA Manager 09
Galactic Civilizations II: Endless Universe
Grand Theft Auto IV
Jumpgate Evolution
Left 4 Dead
The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria
Mata Hari
Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir
Perimeter 2: New Earth
Quake Live
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment
Still Life 2
A Vampyre Story
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
Zeno Clash

Ofcourse that's not all games, but it gives a good look at why PC has the best holiday lineup.

The money is in the consoles. PC games don't have anyone to go up against. They stand alone because they aren't a console. Console War=Big dollars
