Nice read. Like I said in the other thread, if you put nothing into the game, you get nothing out.
People assume it's not deep because it's not telling them what to do. But look at it compared to actual musical instruments. If you give a toddler a keyboard, they'll pound on it making noise. If you give that same keyboard to a trained musician, they'll make beautiful music. Now compare Matt Casamassina's videos to JC Rodrigo's and you begin to see the similarities.
And damn, this is like the 20th Wii Music post I've made today. I'm sick of Wii Music.
