noname already gave a good explanation of why demographics might favor 360 and PS3 on this case. I don't really have anything to add on that.

In a larger sense though, why is it that every multiplatform game suddenly turns into a "test" of Wii sales? If the PS3 throws out a stinker on a multiplatform game (like, say, Guitar Hero III: 3.46m [360], 3.31m [Wii], 1.59m [PS3]) I don't see everyone screaming that developers should pull support from the platform.

Some games just sell better on different platforms. There's really nothing more to say than that. We have plenty of examples of multi-platform games where all three consoles ended up having the lead in sales.
