Er, Dallas has never had a hurrican but it did rain here for about 2 months straight this summer. It sucked but now we're getting back in our August weather where cool days are only 100 degrees.

 Doubt it, Dallas is far North Texas (like almost Oklahoma).  We get storms when Louisiana gets a hurricane but nothing major.

You dont live that far from the coast, a cat 2 or cat 3 hurricane can hit you easily katrina(cat3) was a hurricane all the way to northern alabama, and a tropical storm all the way to new york state.
