Only 240 million?

No way!! It will sell billions everyone will have it! Your grandma, grandfather, your nephew, niece.

Hurray for nintendo!!!!

.....

Nintendo saved the gameindustry in the 80's.
Nintendo killed the gameindustry in the new millenium.

So you're saying that 4 dead people are going to have the Wii? (Grandparents have been dead for years now).   Good job Nintendo!  You just got the casual dead market cornered!

Honestly, a thread like this just sounds like a huge Wii circle jerk for all the huge Wii fanboys.   I just don't see how this is good for anything other then bragging rights, even if it's just temporary.   The thing is, the Wii's US sales will never stay ahead of PS3 WW numbers for long before games that people want come out and the sales increase quite a bit.  And I don't think the Wii has the lasting power to even overcome the PS2 numbers put up over the years.

The hilarious point is that he's making fun of the wii in that post because he doesn't like it.   The thread is fine, though would of been better without the "Not trying to start a flame war" thing.  Was the "Which will happen first, PS3 to 4 million or Wii to 10 Million" thread starting a flamewar?

I don't think the Wii will though.  I know it's possible but at the same time i gotta think PS3 sales will pick up... somehow.  I don't know how, and I'm not saying it's going to beat the Wii. But i gotta think it'll have to do better then gamecube numbers.  Since they're taking huge losses anyway i could see them make an emergency pricecut around the holiday and drop any remaining 60GB units by another 100 and the 80 Gb to the current 60gb price.

Actually, I don't hate the Wii, or even dislike it. I don't really have anything against the Wii one bit. All I know is that it's not a game machine that I would enjoy. Wii fanboys though, that's another story. ;)

My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.
