Mario Galaxy will not outsell Mario Bros. 3 because it is coming out at an early stage in the Wii's life cycle. There aren't enough Wii's out there for that to happen. However if the Wii userbase gets up to say 100 million then it might have a chance with the Mario brand being popular and all. Plus Mario 3 came out at a time where people didn't have to make as many choices. There are more systems and more games then ever before.

Mario 3 stood out from all the rest. It was just amazing for the time. Galaxy looks like it is going to be really fun. But there are many great games out there to go up against. I am not so sure it could go that high.
