There are still ways the PS3 can "win" the console war.
Most likely
1) PS3's eventually drop lower then the cost of Blu-Ray players around the time the next generation starts up. Hi Def Tvs are standard and they stop selling DVDs. That might boost up some sales.
2) Enough people who don't care about video games arn't bothered by the stigma of having a video game system as their Blu-ray player and it's cheaper then the cheapest Blu-ray player + Hi def TV sales skyrocket.
3) Wii sales bottom out really hard.
4) PS3 cures cancer, spurs people to buy it to help cure other diseases
5) Nintedo headquarters is destroyed by some means or another like a Tsunami or Earthquake.
6) Gas prices rise and software update allows the PS3 to not only access a 4th dimension but a 5th dimension acting as a teleporter.
