Looking through the charts, all are 289 weeks. My theory is the PS2 worldwide total starts in March 2000 - so it really includes less than 289 weeks for the Americas and Others. Wii launched within 2 weeks of it's USA release data worldwide, so it isn't really an issue.
That is why the totals through 289 weeks in the Americas + Others + Japan are more than 289 weeks from launch (it is really 289 weeks post Japan launch, which again is less time the Americas and Others)
