People vote for what they'd like to win instead of what is the most likely. It's tough to go against that initial instinct. I voted for Wii Music, even though it's arguable that animal crossing will beat it out. But even though I voted for Wii Music based on logic, it's not what I think deserves the top sales (again arguable, but it's what I feel) and it's not what I'd like to win, so I can understand people that vote on something other than lotic
