Now, I'm known for making stupid errors, but that is clearly why Steve Jobs is laughing to the bank. According to the claims of this article, his stuff costs over twice as much. Yet no one commented on this? Well, minus people saying that Macs aren't much more expensive, but the article itself kinda disagrees with you.

Hmm, perhaps this is because of the well-known lack of "low end" Mac models? 

meet the mac mini, i got one back in the day for 499, and it makes a great file server, and had an ati fx card, overclocked the sucker and added a new hd and 3rd party ram.
