Well if you let a troll back in the forum of their console of choice it won't change anything. They're still gonna troll/flame, and other fanboy trolls are always going to be heading to the rival console's forums, and will gladly jump into the flamebait that partially-banned troll is sure to be spewing.
I thought Gball was pretty cool for a bit, even added him/her as a friend, but judging by the later posts of that account it's obvious why the banstick was applied. Every time a ban happened all you had to do was check gball's posts that day to see why.
That being said, even though I'm an enthusiastic, yet realistic Nintendo fan, I don't want to see flaming or trolling of any kind in the first place.
About mods being involved in flaming, I haven't ever witnessed that in my time here. As a Nintendo fan certain mods have said some things that have rubbed me the wrong way, but it's not their job to pander to me or anyone. Just because a mod or anyone says things you don't like or disagree with doesn't mean they are flaming or trolling.
