The 360 is selling faster than the X-box, the Wii is selling phenomenally greater than the Gamecube and the PS3, despite selling much lower than the PS2, is still selling better than either of the second or third place consoles last gen. The gamers are gaming. Sure many are waiting for the current gen consoles to become cheaper or specific games to come out, but by and large this gen is kicking last gens ass.
It's a glorious time to be a gamer.
