My Falcon 360 (purchases in February) is still running wonderfully, this includes some weekends where I may play and/or leave it on for hours at a time. I played through Halo 3 in one sitting last week and not a single hiccup. So it seems like they did a good job for me in terms of preventing RROD. If this was a launch 360 I would have beat it into the ground by now from what I heard.
My 360 sits on a small end table on the side of my TV stand with plenty of fresh air to breathe in.
