The NA numbers hardly matter. People were saying "Just wait for full week of data this is only a couple days" And then full week of data showed a drop. This week will most likely drop too. The original spike was probablly the people who were going to buy one a couple weeks ago but waited to save money. This all goes into the numbers not being impressive right after the ww drop. People wanted and expected it to be more or else no one would have said "wait for the full week"

Why are you adamantly flaming everyone to defend your troll?

Microsoft had legs on its price cut in Japan. You tried to tie that in with the percieved Others failure to make them look bad. A very crude, and unsuccessful attempt. You feel that if you retort enough, and stand by your original assertion, and flame all the people who fairly called you out, then it'll help you save face.

You're wrong. While what you're doing, certainly is angering all the Xbots, and that might be a secondary goal of yours, some of us see though it.

The truth, without spin, is as follows. Microsoft kept a fair bump in Japan on week two of the price cut. On an unrelated subject, it outsold the Playstation 3. The bump didn't do much for Others, the PS3 outsold it, but being outsold by the PS3 in Others isn't the bar by which we judge success. Week 2 numbers for America aren't in.

Price cuts don't work like software release bumps. Immediate and huge numbers are inconsequential. The goal of the price cut is to keep a consistance pace and raise a steady level of sales over a longer period. Therefore, we won't know how successful, or unsuccessful this price cut was for a few months.

Your opinions are biased and unfair. You present them in an unnecessarily harsh and argumentative manner. In doing so, you make this forum a worse place to visit, no matter what your motives. That, in itself, should be the main reason for rethinking your posting style. My intervention only points out the obvious.
