Try that's not a good anlogy, as it's not properly related to what you wrote. A company's reputation to their supposed base is not the same as an unknown person being talked about in another country. So the difference is not subtle. It's too big for what you are tying to state to fit. And down the road assumes nothing will come along to change that. Ubisoft is working on Wii games, and they have said so. They're adjusting their HD engines to fit on the Wii. Would they do something like that for shovelware, when it would cost a hell of a lot less time and money just to port engines from the 6th gen? That wasn't to you, but to all of those who assume Ubisoft is just going to continue snubbing the Wii. |
What is the company's supposed base though? Ubisoft's Petz games are clearly not targetted at you or I (me at least) so we're not even a concern in that demographic. We're very much akin to those people in Russia when it comes to marketing those kinds of games.
So then do you foresee a lot of good Ubisoft support coming? In looking at their past developer history, I don't see much. Their publishing history looks good but that's publishing.
