I think it's great that we're seeing lots of games announced for the 360/ps3. It means we're getting something that was sorely lacking in the last gen. Variety. We're not getting three consoles that do the same thing and play the same games. We're getting different gaming experiences.
and ckmlb. You know that games are usually in development BEFORE they're announced right. If a PS3/360 game is announced tomorrow, and includes screenshots, then it's been in development for months. When you consider that the Wii has only been out for 10 months, I think the shift we've already seen in developer resources has been staggering.
And agreed sqrl. If anything, I think the PS3 is the console this gen that will have the hardest time shaking the "First party games only" focus.
