The Xbox 720 (seems like the most likely name) will not be out until 2012. Microsoft have said that. The only reason they pulled the Xbox off the market for its sequel is because the PS2 was 100 million sales ahead of it and it had only sold 24 million copies in 4 years- frankly, it was getting destroyed. They needed a head start on the competition to stand a chance. The extra year didn't help much, so imagine what it would have been like if it was released in the same month as its competitors.
I think the PS4 will be released in 2012 as well, but the Wii might stay on longer.
