There's no way Sony will reach 11M consoles sold by the end of this year. 8M likely, 9M maybe, and 10M if they're lucky... but not 11M.

As for the side discussion regarding '4D', I think what Sony was trying to say is that the PS3 will create more realistic worlds. They aren't just more realistic looking. Items, enemies, environments, etc. will effect each other and be like they are in the real world. Break a window and then touch it and your character gets cut. When an explosion happens, everything is automatically impacted by the force and reacts accordingly. Does the PS3 do that? Not to such extremes. But I imagine it's where they are trying to go and we'll see more of that this generation.



Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
