In 2002 they showed Zelda: TWW with "teh kiddyz" style and that's evident in how the TWW Link looks, and why the 2+2 panel was there because TWW looked like some kiddy game. Adult Link then comes in and shoots Miyamoto because there should've been a "mature" Zelda with a "mature" looking Link instead of "teh kiddyz" TWW.

Edit: Might I add in Space World 2001 they showed a realistic Link and Ganondorf fighting and that was completely different from TWW.

i think part of it may have to do with the fact that the adult link at the end of the comic was link from twilight princess, which is what should have been the gamecube zelda in the first place. maybe this comic is pointing at a bigger message that nintendo is on the rise and going back to what it was like in the super nintendo era where everything is going to be kick ass and all other gaming companies would be non existant compared to nintendo. thats all just furthur speculation though.
