ok 4D is based time. Like the video on the site I posted. Think of yourself 1 minute ago and now. Thats what 4D is, its duration. Duration to think, duration in time, duration to execute.
The CELL processor can accomplish branching A.I. better then the other two consoles.
Branching the A.I. grants each opponent various options to accomplish it's task.
In Resistance: Fall of Man for example, the enemy chimera are given 4 options; stand & attack, take cover; retreat and call for help; and attack under cover (forget the real ones watch the playb3yond video for them). Some enemies have less options then others but the basic ones have these options.
So the idea of 4D in gaming is basically branched A.I. which allows what I said above, the ability to think, react, and execute an action in a curtain duration of time.
Thats basically what good old Ken meant was that it can handle faster and more logical A.I. if you will.
