Pretty much.... like someone else said, less than 1/3 of the traffic to this site is from the US, so why bother putting up a poll that only concerns US citizens?

And of course the world prefers Obama to McCain since they prefer the President of the US to be an ass-kisser as opposed to an ass-kicker, which is why they prefer Democrats to Republicans since they are known for their ass-kissing...

The world loved Clinton, Carter etc.... ass-kissers

The world hates/hated Bush Jr, Bush Sr, Regan, etc... ass-kickers

And yet from Carter we just have the Iranina hostige crisis, Clinton allowing Osama Bin Laden to train in Afganistan when he knew it and didnt crack down or push our allies to be more democratic, Reagan for ending cold war with JPII, Bush one for defending a country and growing economy, Bush 2 for ending a resession and trying to stay off another us not in ression thats three constant quaters of negative gdp growth which hasnt occure last quater grew by 1.3% which is about the EU15 average for past decade.

 

 

Exactly... which was basically what i was implying in my previous post...

If Obama wins, the world will of course love him (which they already do) but at our own expense.  If McCain wins, the world will continue to loath us, but America will be much better off as McCain is much stronger on national security and is also much better equipped to deal with our economic problems than Obama, who will just end up leading us towards socialism.

When speaking about the economy, Joe Biden (Obama's running mate) said at a rally the other day that Americans should pay more taxes because it's the "patriotic thing to do."  That's a far cry from the founding fathers of America who's idea of patriotism was fighting against excessive taxes and an oppressive gov't.  It never ceases to amazes me how all the young people in this country flock to him like he's the second coming of Christ who's gonna save us all and fix everything, yet he stands against virtually everything this country was founded on.  That's the power of the media these days.
