Because Will Wright is making ridiculous money off of all the Hardcore PC gamers right? Creating content is the very exact idea of casual. There is no goal, there just you doing whatever you want and having fun doing it. There's no buttons to learn, no combos to master, no skills needed to pass a level, it really doesn't get more casual than that.
On track of the thread though. LBP won't come even close to the sale numbers of Wii Music, nor will it move any hardware worth mentioning when compared to the hardware Wii Music pushes out. The quality of the games though will probably be the exact opposite of that.
P.S. To all those who say that everyone that played it said it sucked. Who is this everyone? People that go to games conventions? Wii Music isn't even aimed at those people, so your argument holds no water when it comes to the mass appeal of the game.
